Butte Valley beat top-seeded Dunsmuir 25-22 in last weekend’s semifinal after losing the first meeting by 35.

To beat second-seeded Redding Christian, Butte Valley will need a similar turnaround. The Bulldogs lost the regular season meeting 55-20.
Cade Vercellotti and Trevor Robertson believe the key is to shutdown Redding Christian quarterback Hayden Piper.
It is the third sectional championship game in the last four years for Butte Valley, which went undefeated and won the title in 2011.
Aaron Lee believes the way the team has come together late in the season is a big reason for their run to the championship game.
