Failed Abduction in Klamath Falls

 

Klamath Falls, Ore. – On November 15, 2013 at about 10:51 am, Deputies from the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of S. 6th St and Kane St for a reported attempted abduction.  An unknown white male adult attempted to abduct a 27 year old female as she was walking from lunch at Albertson’s Express back to her place of employment on Kane St.  The victim said the male grabbed her by the arm and tried to pull her into his vehicle.  The victim was able to fight free and run from the suspect.  The victim then called 911.  The search of the area and possible suspect vehicle sightings turn up nothing.  The victim said she has never seen the suspect or the vehicle before.

Vehicle is described as a 90’s style box van unknown make or model, white in color with no discernable marks or identification.  The vehicle did have a ladder rack on top.

Male suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s with dark hair and full goatee.  The suspect wore a black baseball style hat and black long sleeve shirt or jacket.  The suspect is possible 5’10”-6’0” and medium build.

This investigation is ongoing.l

The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office is requesting anyone who observed this incident  in the area of S. 6th ST in between Homedale RD and Kane ST  on November 15, 2013 around 10:30am and 11:00am to call 911 or Deputy Manny Diaz at the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office at (541) 883-5130.
