Highway 39 closed on Saturday after vehicle crashes into power pole

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Oregon State Police Department says a crash on Highway 39 this weekend near Klamath Falls caused a major closure after a vehicle driven by a woman from Malin slammed into a power pole.

Oregon State Police officers cited the driver following Saturday’s night non-injury accident for failing to maintain a lane.

The highway was closed about six hours as Pacific Power personnel repaired the power pole and down power lines.

The woman was waering a seat belt, and  she was not injured.
