The Oregon Tech Lady Owls are on the road for three games in four days, starting tonight at Holy Names (5:15 p.m. – The Sports Legend, ESPN 960).

OIT opened the season with a 100-89, double overtime victory over NCAA Div. II Humboldt State last weekend and will see two more NCAA opponents with Holy Names tonight and the Univ. of Oregon waiting on Monday. Saturday’s game is at UC-Merced.

Oregon Tech head coach Scott Meredith’s team was picked third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and had two players picked on the All-Conference first team.

Men’s Basketball

The start of the Oregon Tech men’s basketball season is officially Sunday, as Oregon Tech hosts Pacific Union College (4:30 p.m. – 92-5 KLAD).

The team played the Univ. of Lethbridge early last month, but it was an exhibition and didn’t count as an OIT win, keeping head coach Danny Miles’ career total at 987.
