Fund set up for couple that was seriously injured in head on collision in Klamath Falls

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A fund has been set up for the Klamath Falls couple involved in a head on collision on Homedale Monday afternoon.

The Klamath County Sheriff’s says that Amy Squires crossed over the center median in her minivan, and crashed head on into a car driven by Nicholas Gonzalez.

Gonzalez, and his girlfriend Hannah Carter,  both sustained serious injuries in the two car crash that occurred just after noon.

Carter suffered three broken ribs and internal injuries, and  is expected to be released from the hospital today.

Family members say Gonzalez was flown to a hosptial in Bend on Monday night with a broken neck, jaw, and shoulder, as well as other injuries.
