SALEM, Ore. — Oregonians are driving less according to recent studies.

An analysis shows that driving in the state has been falling since reaching a peak in 2004.

Almost a decade ago the average distance traveled per person in Oregon was almost 10,000 miles, and at the end of last year it was only a little more than 8,500 miles.
