Earthquake preparedness training this month in Lakeview and Klamath Falls



KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The Oregon Office of Emergency Management and American Red Cross are teaming up to bring earthquake preparedness to communities in Southern Oregon.

They’ll be working in our area this month, which is National Earthquake Preparedness Month.

The public workshops will teach residents how to prepare, survive, and recover from an earthquake.

The dates are next Monday, the 16th, in the Lakeview High School cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. or the 17th at the Klamath Falls Library at 6:00 p.m.
