Crash kills woman in Klamath County

KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. — A fatal crash yesterday morning took the life of a woman that was traveling through Klamath County.

A man driving east on 138 drove through the stop sign at Highway 97 near Diamond Lake.

A tanker truck traveling north on 97 hit the Honda on the passenger side, killing the female passenger.

The male passenger received minor injuries, and was taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center.

The truck’s driver, 57 year old Kenneth S. Brasser, from Klamath Falls, wasn’t injured.

Brasser is a driver for Home Run Transport out of Klamath Falls, and was reportedly wearing his seatbelt.
