Loans available for business owners that were affected by Oregon fires

WASHINGTON — Small businesses that have been economically impacted by forest fires that began on July 26, could be eligible for low interest working capital federal disaster loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Several fire complexes, including the Douglas Complex and Big Windy Complex, have burned 100,000 acres in Oregon, and affected local businesses in the area in the process.

The Governor has called the fires in Southern Oregon the worst the state has seen in over a decade.
