Tulelake Butte Valley Fair Kicks Off Today

TULELAKE, Cal – The 62nd annual Tulelake Butte Valley Fair kicks off today. This year’s theme is “God Made A Farmer”. Since losing funding from the State of California three years ago, the Tulelake Butte Valley Fair has implemented a “pay what you can” admission policy. Fairgoers can still go the fair for free, but organizers are encouraging folks from the Basin to pay a voluntary admission fee. The fair starts today and will continue through Sunday, featuring food, rides, family entertainment as well as a rodeo on Friday night, a destruction derby on Saturday night and side by side mud racing on Sunday afternoon.
