Road flagger killed on I-5



WOLF CREEK, Ore. — A man that working as a road flagger for a private company was hit and killed yesterday.

Officials say that a commercial truck driver hit the flagger on I-5 near Wolf Creek around 1pm, and never stopped.

Oregon State Troopers found the truck at a gas station about an hour later.

The driver didn’t know that his vehicle had hit someone.

The flagger died at the scene, and the collision is currently under investigation, and the names of the victim and the truck driver are being withheld at this time.
