SALEM, Ore. — Oregon saw some job grow in the month of July.
Reports show that our state grew by 900 new jobs last month.
Private employers hired thousands of new workers, but public agencies cut more people than they normally do this time of the year.
Unemployment was up from 7.8 percent in June to 8.0 percent in July.
Also, trends show that two industries are lead in growth: leisure and hospitality and business and professional services.
