ALBANY, Ore. — Hundreds turned out over the weekend to pay their respects to the fire fighter that died when the water truck he was driving rolled over last week.

About 400 people attended the memorial in Albany for 19 year old Jesse Trader, a 2012 West Albany graduate, that died last Tuesday fighting a fire in Southern Oregon.

Trader’s brakes  reportedly were failing as he drove down a steep, winding logging road, and he was trying to avoid ramming other rigs when his truck drove went off the road and rolled on an embankment.
