GLENDALE, Ore. — Recent rainfall and humidity helped firefighters working on the Douglas Complex fires over the weekend, and the complex is now 48 percent contained.

The fire has burned through 44,411-acres 7 miles north of Glendale, and the saw Saturday afternoon helped the firefighting effort.

A fire camp at Glendale High School got 1.28 inches of rain and hail in 28 minutes. Seven minor injuries have been reported.
