Crews continue to battle Douglas Complex fires

GLENDALE, Ore. — Crews continue to battle the Doulas Complex fire burning 7 miles north of Glendale.

As of yesterday, the fire was reported at 15 percent containment, with over 2,300 firefighters working on the line.

The fire has burned almost 35,000 acres, and was caused by a lightning strike on July 26th.

Firefighters are dealing with hazards, like falling boulders and trees, old mine shafts, and narrow roads which are affecting access into some of the fire area.
