Arson suspected in fires on Highway 66, public’s help needed to find suspects




KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The Klamath County Sheriff’s Department needs the public’s help in the wake of several arson fires in our area.

Four fires, that officials believe were set intentionally on Hwy 66, started last Sunday around 1:30pm.

The fires were within 300 yards of each other, and located in a ditch and on the roadside.

Land owners and Fire Crews from Keno Fire and ODF got the fire under control quickly, and no houses or significant property damage was reported.
