Both sides fired up over medical marijuana bill

SALEM, Ore. — The law that will legalize medical marijuana dispensaries in Oregon, one that is expected to be signed soon By the Governor, has both sides fired up about whether this is good or bad for our state.

The side for the bill say that it will work by legitimizing state dispensaries that are already operating in a legal gray area.

Opponents say the bill is a open door for growers to set their own prices, which will lead to abuse of the medical-marijuana system.

After it’s signed, the law is set to go into effect in March.
