Comeback takes Gems to fourth straight victory

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A one out, two-run double by Nick Fisher in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Klamath Falls Gems a come from behind 14-13 win over Top Speed Baseball in non-league action at Kiger Stadium on Wednesday night.

Craig Meredith knocked in four RBI with three hits for the Gems (West Coast League 15-15), who had thirteen total hits on the night. Cole Trezek (1-0) came on in relief and got the win, his first for the Gems, and Matt Davis (0-2) earned the loss for Top Speed Baseball.

The Gems have Thursday off before hosting non-league Central Oregon on Friday (6 p.m. – 960 the Sports Legend).
