RENO, Nev. — After winning the first game at Josh Anderson Memorial Tournament, the Crater Lake Babe Ruth team lost both on Wednesday.

The Reno Sun Devils beat Crater Lake 15-3 in the first game. Dylan Smith was the losing pitcher, according to coach Joe Tacchini.

In the evening, despite a 4-3 loss to Centralia, Tacchini said the team played better, including Klamath Union alumnus pitcher Kody Kuhlman. Crater Lake had the tying run on third before Centralia’s leftfielder made a diving catch to put out Crater Lake’s Willy Howard to end the game.

Crater Lake plays Danville, Calif. today.
