With Gems idle, Medford moves even with Klamath Falls

Victoria, B.C. – In the battle of the expansion teams, the Medford Rogues used two runs in the second inning to beat Victoria 4-1 in British Columbia. Ryan Teel had two RBI for the Rogues as Medford improved to 4-3. It was Victoria’s first loss of the season.

Medford is now tied with Klamath Falls at a half-game behind Bend and Cowlitz for the South Division lead in the West Coast League.

The Gems host Walla Walla at 6:35 p.m. tonight at Kiger Stadium (6 p.m. – 960 the Sports Legend).
