87 people contract Hepatitis A from frozen fruit sold at Costco

WASHINGTON — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 87 people in eight states have contracted hepatitis A from frozen fruit sold at Costco.

The cases have been linked to a frozen berry mix produced by Townsend Farms in Oregon.

The company has recalled its frozen Organic Antioxidant Blend from all Costco stores, and the store was also offering free Hepatitis shots to customers.
