West Coast League official begins

MEDFORD, Ore. — While the Klamath Falls Gems season started last weekend, the official start of the West Coast League season was yesterday with five games on the schedule.

Wednesday was the first ever WCL games for the league’s two expansion teams – the Medford Rogues and Victoria HarbourCats. After scoring four runs in the third inning, Bellingham defeated Medford 11-8 in the Rogues debut at home. The HarbourCats were successful, beating Kelowna 8-6.
