KU’s McGahan adds exclamation point to Pels’ productive day

WILSONVILLE, Ore. – In the opening round of the OSAA 4A Baseball State Championships on Thursday, the Klamath Union Pelicans weren’t having a problem scoring runs through four innings against North Marion. Entering the fifth, KU led 8-1 with five hits already before Trenton McGahan came up with a runner on.

KU won 11-3 and advanced to the quarterfinals. McGahan was one of six Pelicans with at least one RBI.
