KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Planning on doing some camping this holiday weekend? The Klamath National Forest is ready for visitors for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Many of the campgrounds and recreation sites in that area are already open.
While most popular campgrounds fill up, don’t worry because there’s many other locations throughout the Forest to choose from like the Salmon/Scott River Ranger District, which is open.
The water system at Kangaroo Campground is undergoing repairs, and potable water will be available sometime in June when the repairs are finished.
