State tennis begins

The OSAA Tennis State Championships commence today and three Klamath Basin girls will play for a singles title. Senior Sarrah Pardon has an opening round match against Estefani Lamas of McLoughlin today, while Henley freshman Paige Hahn goes against Eliza Minculescu of La Salle. KU junior Marisa Doveri has to wait until Friday before opening with Ridgeview’s Sally Claridge. 

On the boys side, Henley’s Jacob Morgan plays an opening day match against Alejandro Echeverri of Central.

Seniors Adam O’Farrell and Zach Leininger represent Henley in boys doubles, opening tomorrow against a winning pair from today’s opening round play. Christian Meyers and Ryan Williams play a third-seeded pair from Catlin Gabel.

The freshmen girls duo of Jesse Vezo and Vanessa Matheson face a pair from Oregon Espicopal today.
