KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Over 300 local, state and federal officers made a major drug bust in Klamath County just before dawn yesterday.
38 people were arrested and accused of operating a methamphetamine and gun distribution network, and more arrests are expected. Officials say the operation is connected to Mexican drug cartels.
The raids took place after an eight month investigation that authorities called Operation Trojan Horse. Agents searched 23 homes and businesses in Klamath Falls and outlying rural communities, and police seized 4 pounds of methamphetamine and 50 guns.
