Basin golfers try for state tournament

North Valley looks for repeat titles at the Skyline Conference Golf Championships, which start today. The boys and girls meets will span two days each at Reames Golf & Country Club in Klamath Falls and Centennial in Medford.

Numerous Basin-area golfers have strong chances to make next week’s OSAA Golf State Championships including Klamath Union’s Kyle Wolfram and Mazama’s Bryce Wortman. KU’s team is trying to make back-to-back appearances.

On the girls side, Henley’s Kaitlin and Kylie Collom as well as Mazama’s Hannah Reynolds. Kaitlin Collom won the state title last year, while Reynolds was third. 

The Goofing Around at Lunch Forum will broadcast from Reames Golf & Country Club on Tuesday (Noon – 960 the Sports Legend).
