Man arrested following Sprague River shooting

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – An incident in Sprague River has led to the arrest of a man in Klamath County.

25-year-old Teel Blue Gentry has been arrested, charged with attempted aggravated murder after authorities discovered 36-year-old Derrick William Forste dead from gunshot wounds on Thursday evening.

According to Klamath County District Attorney Rob Patridge, another person was stabbed multiple times and transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center. That person’s name has not been released.

The investigation is ongoing and Gentry is being held in the Klamath County Jail on $1 million bail.
