KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.- A man that was robbed of his vehicle was found tied up so tightly that his injured hands almost had to be amputated. An Oregon state trooper stopped the 73 year old victim’s Jeep Wrangler on Wednesday night because its lights were out. When the driver said he’d borrowed the vehicle, officers became suspicious, and went to the owner’s house to check it out. When the officer looked through a kitchen window, they saw Leo Novak sitting there tied to a chair with his hands behind his back. The sheriff’s office also says that the victim may have lost his hands if he had been tied up any longer.
