KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.- The suspected propane bomber, that tried to blow up his ex-girlfriend, has been caught just outside Rogue River. Michael J Pankey was arrested a few miles away from Rogue River on Wednesday night. Police say the bomb is made out of small propane cylinder like those used for camp stoves, filled with gunpowder. No one was injured. Pankey reportedly told his ex-girlfriend that he was going to blow up her house or her car after they broke up.
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.- Police are looking for a man who reportedly exploded a propane bomb outside a residence in Rogue River where his ex-girlfriend was staying. Michael J. Pankey, 30, is wanted on several felony charges, including assault, coercion, possession of a destructive device and manufacturing a destructive device. The woman ended a relationship with Pankey two weeks ago, and was inside her home when she heard the sound of Pankey’s Chevy Blazer coming up the street. A large explosion then shook the home shortly after Pankey’s Blazer drove away, No injuries were reported and no homes were damaged.
