Updated: Person dies after vehicle collision on Alamont



KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – A 69-year-old Klamath Falls woman is dead after a traffic accident Friday near Altamont Drive and Anderson Way in Klamath Falls. Linda Wright was pronounced dead at Sky Lakes Medical Center after the vehicle she was driving ran a stop sign on Anderson Way and struck a car going south on Altamont.

The driver of the other car was transported to Sky Lakes. According to the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office, three people total were taken to the hospital.

The Herald and News reports information supplied to it by the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office regarding this collision was incorrect. According to the newest report, after speaking with eyewitnesses, Oregon State Police reconstructionists determined a car driven by Barbara Sue Lissone on Anderson Avenue ran a stop sign, causing the collision with Wright, who was driving on Altamont.
