Budget committee to visit Ashland, 5 other cities for input

SALEM, Ore. — Members of the Ways and Means Committee will travel the state seeking public input for future budget plans.

The budget committee of the Oregon Legislature will hear from the public starting April 12. They’ll visit Eugene, Ashland, Bend, Hermiston, Portland, and Tillamook, wrapping up on April 25.

Lawmakers must approve a two-year budget by June 30.
