Nominations for the Klamath County Volunteer of the Year Awards are due on Monday at noon.
Entry forms are available at the United Way or can be sent by e-mail fax or mail, according to the People’s Choice Awards chairperson Marla Edge. Entry forms are also available through this link.
According to the nomination form, the Volunteer Center’s purpose is to enhance the spirit of volunteerism within Klamath Country through recruitment, training and referral of volunteers to non-profit organizations in need of help.
Categories include seniors, adult, youth, education, public safety and public service.
The awards are part of the United Way Volunteer Center’s Volunteer of the Year Awards and Recognition Event during Volunteer Week.
