Shooting victim dies, Person of interest now suspect

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – One of the two victims in a Sunday shooting has died.

28-year-old Terry Dwight Entriken was pronounced dead on Wednesday morning according to the Oregon Department of Justice’s Jeff Manning. He was found outside an apartment on Sunday when police responded to a 911 call.

Earlier this week, authorities named a person of interest, 27-year-old Leland Thomas Nicholson Jr. He is now considered a suspect as the investigation is now considered a murder and attempted murder case. Nicholson Jr. is at-large.

Another victim, 36-year-old Vanessa Renee Alexander, was in fair condition as of Tuesday, according to Manning. She was found inside the apartment with a gunshot wound to the face.
