OIT baseball’s postseason hopes take a hit

ATHERTON, Calif. – Oregon Tech baseball’s postseason chances took a hit as the Owls were swept by Menlo this past weekend.

After losing 7-5 and 6-1 on Friday, OIT fell 8-3 and 4-0 on Saturday.

The top five teams in the NAIA West make the conference tournament, and the weekend losses by Oregon Tech dropped the Owls four games behind Corban and Concordia for fifth place.

The University of British Columbia surpassed Lewis-Clark State by a half-game to lead the NAIA West.
