Pac-12 Baseball: UO & OSU atop standings

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Max Engelbrekt and Scott Schultz combined for 4 2/3 innings of scoreless relief Sunday to help the third-ranked Oregon State baseball team hold off No. 20 Arizona State for a 4-3 win at Goss Stadium. With the win, the Beavers claimed the series over the Sun Devils, 2-1.

Oregon Ducks 

No. 13 Oregon built a five-run lead over Arizona and then held on to win 7-6 and complete the three-game series sweep of the defending National Champions at PK Park on Sunday.
The Ducks (18-6, 5-1 Pac-12) took a 7-3 lead into the ninth inning but the Wildcats (15-11, 0-6 Pac-12) rallied for three runs before stranding the tying run at second base.

Both the 5-1 Ducks and Beavers are tied atop the standings with UCLA, followed by Cal at 4-2. Oregon plays host to Portland on Tuesday. Oregon State is idle until Thursday.
