SALEM, Ore. – Improvements are coming to the OC&E Woods Line State Trail. As part of over $8 million in projects, the Oregon Transportation Commission approved $313,000 for the OC&E Woods Line State Trail running through Olene and Klamath Falls for improvements to crossing safety.
The trail’s request was one of 155 original applications for funding, of which 62 made the second phase. The approval is for the 2012-2015 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program and can be scheduled for construction.
A Portland project and another in Coos Bay earned the largest funding, both about $1.4 million.
