Seeking their 11th straight NAIA Div. II Men’s Basketball National Championship tournament appearance, the Oregon Tech Hustlin’ Owls start the long road Wednesday night at Eastern Oregon in the opening round of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament.

After a mid-conference season three-game losing streak, OIT has won six of its last 10 games to claim the 7th seed in the CCC Tournament and will play No. 2 seed Eastern Oregon for a third time. EOU won the previous two games by a combined 15 points, including an 88-75 win in La Grande last month.

After 30 days removed from that game, however, Owls head coach Danny Miles likes his team’s chances heading into the conference tournament.
