GRANTS PASS, Ore. — 40 pounds of marijuana was seized following the strong smell of the drug coming from a car’s trunk at an area motel.

According to Oregon State Police, the pot was seized after city police responded to an unreleated call. The Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team arrived to help when detectives discovered five plastic garbage bags containing marijuana in the trunk of two Seattle men.

Alex Carabollo and Samuel Braun will have to appear at a later date in Josephine County Circuit Court for unlawful possession and delivery of marijuana.
