Winners presented at 92nd Awards Gala

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The 92nd Annual Klamath County Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala was held this weekend, recognizing Basin businesses and people.

Fisher Nicholson Realtors won the Business of the Year award. Klamath Basin Home Builders Association’s Rachel Spoon said Fisher Nicholson was recognized for “amazing representation around the community in one of the worst recessions for the real estate profession,” according to a release.

Bob Kingzett won the Distinguished Service award. He’s the Executive Director of the JELD-WEN Foundation, which has donated to numerous local charities. Kingzett was credited with being instrumental in bringing the Sanford Pediatric Clinic to Klamath Falls.

The First Citizen award went to Michael Cullers, who was nominated “on behalf of the hundreds of Boy Scouts whose lives he has positively touched,” according to the release.

Bobbi Adams won the President’s Choice award, while Kingsley Field earned Green Business of the Year.  US Cellular – Cellular Solutions won the Member of the Year.
