CALDWELL, Idaho — The Oregon Tech Hustlin’ Owls won their second Cascade Collegiate Conference game in three tries Saturday night, beating College of Idaho 68-62.
The victory helped OIT stay in the conference postseason tournament race with a 3-8 record and a seventh place tie with Corban University.

The Owls had their best shooting night since an 86-62 non-conference win against New Hope Christian on Dec. 10. OIT was 46 percent from the field in the win against COI, earning the victory despite the team’s second 20-plus turnover night in CCC games this season.
Tech senior David Clarke scored 26 points and 10 rebounds.
Oregon Tech lost 88-75 to No. 1 Eastern Oregon Friday night.
Oregon Tech Lady Owls Swept
The Oregon Tech Lady Owls lost both games this weekend including a 91-49 defeat to Eastern Oregon on Friday night and a 60-44 loss at College of Idaho on Saturday.
The losses dropped OIT a half-game behind Warner Pacific for third place in the CCC.
The Owls return home this weekend against Concordia and Warner Pacific. The Saturday women’s-men’s doubleheader games are the annual Pink Out. Early arrivals will receive a t-shirt from OIT.
