KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Davin Nichols and Gus Bratton scored individual wins for the Mazama Vikings in Wednesday’s night’s home wrestling dual with Phoenix, but the visiting Pirates won the meet 54-21.
Nichols earned a 6-3 decision over Cedar King, while Bratton pinned Justin Knight at the 2:52 mark.
Injuries and eligibility issues have left Mazama with a thin roster, causing the Vikings to forfeit half of the 14 matches.
