Klamath authorities seeking check forgery suspects

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Authorities in Klamath County are looking for two suspects forging fraudulent checks in the Klamath Falls area.

Starting in late 2012, authorities have been collecting information regarding a criminal organization that has been forging checks from agencies like the Department of Human Services.

The suspected leaders of the ring are 43- year-old Randall “Pony” Gallagher (left) and 46-year-old Anna Marie Rodriguez (below).

On Tuesday, a search warrant was served and two people were arrested on unrelated warrants.

It is believed that many other forged checks have not been recovered and area businesses are warned to be cautious when accepting checks. Authorities say proper identification is highly important before accepting a check. More arrests are anticipated.

Anyone with information regarding the location of these suspects is asked to call Klamath County Sheriff’s Office (541-883-5130), Klamath Falls Police Department (541-883-5336), or OSP Southern Command Center dispatch (541-883-5711).
