After Triad and Hosanna Christian met a week ago, another Basin rivalry game is scheduled for Tuesday night when Tulelake hosts Butte Valley in a girls-boys doubleheader.

The Tulelake boys lost their league opener last Friday 59-52 to Dunsmuir, which was the Honkers third loss in their last four games. Meanwhile, Butte Valley has won six of its last seven including a 76-41 defeat of Surprise Valley to open conference play.

Tulelake’s girls basketball coach David Todd is in his first season with the Honkers program. He joined the team later in the school year, but already has some familiarity with Butte Valley.
