Air stagnation advisory for Basin through Thursday

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — There is an air stagnation advisory for Klamath County through Noon on Thursday.

The National Weather Service says the Air Quality Index on Saturday was in the unhealthy range for those with respiratory problems, the elderly and children. An air stagnation advisory is issued typically when there is no or little wind expected in the Klamath Basin, allowing for smoke and other airborne pollution to concentrate.

The Burn Advisory for the County is red through the air stagnation advisory.
