OSP makes New Year’s Day arrests for DUII

SALEM, Ore. — Klamath Falls-based officers made two DUII arrests during the Oregon State Police’s increased enforcement efforts for New Year’s Eve.

Both Klamath Falls Area Command Office arrests came after midnight and were part of the 39 total DUII arrests throughout the state during the period. 26 arrests occurred between midnight and 6 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

Over the entire holiday period that began last Friday evening, OSP troopers have reported 73 DUII arrests, up from 53 during the same period last year.
