Lady Owls win again



KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A strong first half helped the Oregon Tech women’s basketball team to a 76-29 win over Northwest Indian College Monday night at Danny Miles Court. 

OIT opened to a 45-11 advantage and won its ninth in 10 games. It was the second victory over Northwest Indian in as many nights.

Karissa Dixon scored 11 points to lead the Lady Owls. She also posted eight rebounds, two steals and two assists. 

Freshman Megan Whetstone added 10 points on a 5 for 8 shooting night. She also had seven rebounds.

Oregon Tech plays at home this weekend against Cascade Collegiate Conference opponents College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon. Both are ranked in the NAIA Top 25.
