ALTURAS, Calif. — The Klamath Union wrestling team claimed the title at the Northeast Classic in Alturas.

Mitch Mirande, Chase Anderson and Bee and Tee Nguyen won individual titles. Lakeview’s Tony Frank also won at 220 pounds.

Hosanna Wrestlers In Action This Weekend

Shon Moses won the 220-pound championship this weekend for Hosanna Christian while Omar Alvarado finished in fourth place.

Moses also earned “Mr. Takedown” for best takedown of the tournament.

High School Basketball

The Lost River girls beat Lakeview 47-30 to win the Running Raider Tournament title in Merrill.

Central Linn beat Lost River 52-34 for the boys championship.
