Evidence tampering leads to Klamath-area arrest

KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. — New arrests have two in Klamath County Jail over the weekend.

26-year-old Nicole Marie DeMartini is being held on $15,000 bail for two counts of hindering prosecution. She is charged with tampering with evidence as well.

57-year-old Daniel Lee Hoptowit III of Klamath Falls is charged with violating his probation. He is being held without bail. Hoptowit’s original charges were first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault.
