Two options for extradition of man in 1997 disappearance case

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A man lodged in Klamath County Jail will remain there unless California Gov. Jerry Brown signs a warrant or the man signs extradition paperwork.

Ed Henline Jr. was arrested last month on conspiracy and accessory to commit a crime dating back to the 1997 disappearance of Hannah Zaccaglini. Until he is extradited to California’s Siskiyou County, he cannot be arraigned sheriff Jon Lopey told mtshastanews.com.

The website reports the family of Zaccaglini went to Sacramento Monday encouraging Brown to sign the waiver.

Henline Jr.’s father, Ed Henline, Sr. is in the Siskiyou County Jail charged with first-degree murder.
